Smart Trading Bots for the VALR exchange

BooF Bots was born from frustration with Binance’s unreliable trading bots during lockdown. What began as a simple fix turned into a reality check: building a dependable bot is tough. After wrestling with overly complex predictive models, I scrapped them. The only strategy that stood the test of unsupervised trading? Re-balancing(mean revision).

The approach is straightforward: maintain a portfolio of cryptocurrencies, buying low when prices drop and selling high when they climb. No speculative formulas—just disciplined market mechanics.

The first version, built on LUNO, stumbled due to an unstable API and early coding missteps. Version 2, powered by VALR’s exceptional API, is a complete overhaul—simpler, smarter, and built to last. It pairs trading with a staking edge: A percentage of each relevant currency is staked for guaranteed growth alongside trading profit.

Optional features—like trend-adjusted balancing and volatility-based margins—add flexibility but stay tightly controlled to protect the core strategy. BooF Bots doesn’t chase moonshots; it’s engineered for steady, hands-off profits on VALR’s rock-solid platform.
